Workshop Outline
Innovyze would like to invite you to join us for a Water Supply Workshop, to be held on Tuesday 20th March 2012.
This informal event, designed to bring together current and potential users of Innovyze’s Water Supply products,
will be held at the Fountain Conference Centre, Howbery Park, Oxfordshire.
The workshop is provisionally scheduled around four sessions as detailed below. Each session will start with a technical presentation
and will be followed by a time of open discussion facilitated by the Innovyze team. The event will be highly relevant to all users of
Innovyze’s water supply products, who will benefit not only from the sessions, but also from informal networking with industry colleagues.
To attend this event please use the registration form below.
What’s New in InfoWorks WS and InfoWorks TS
Recent versions of the software have benefited greatly from a series of additions and improvements,
opening up new modelling opportunities and making existing tasks more efficient. This session aims to ensure
that users understand the changes in the latest versions of InfoWorks WS and InfoWorks TS and how they may
benefit from them.
Surge Modelling
During this session users will learn more about surge modelling in both distribution and transmission networks.
Transients in water distribution systems are a major concern for pipeline analysis, design and operation as they
have the potential to wreck or damage pipeline systems and equipment, reduce system efficiency, induce adverse
water quality conditions, and threaten the integrity and quality of supply as well as public safety.
Critical Link Analysis
Critical Link Analysis is an invaluable tool that allows automated testing and reporting of the effects of
failure of a selection of links. In this session users will be shown a variety of tips and tricks for performing
improved analysis and will have the opportunity to share their experiences and learn from those of others.
IWLive Update
IWLive is an advanced forecasting and scenario evaluation for the water distribution system control room.
A key question that will be looked at during this session is what is and what is not required for an IWLive
system to be put in place. Additionally, users will be able to take a look at what has been added in the
latest software release and discuss enhancements for future versions of the system.
