Another year, another major Ozwater Conference. We have to give it to the Australian Water Association, they know how to throw a massive event! The organisation skills outdo Marie Kondo any day (hopefully someone found that funny).
2019 was absolutely exceptional with thousands of water experts crowding the halls of Melbourne Exhibition Centre to find out the latest in tech and innovation.
We chose a new design for our booth this year, branded with the Innovyze look that we launched last year. We went a little bigger and bolder, and it seems to have impressed! Vanessa Heathcote, our APAC Marketing Executive, and I decided to create a space that would be true to the Innovyze brand and more importantly something that was welcoming. A booth is nothing though without its team and this year we were lucky enough to have our APAC VP Toby Bourke and Asia VP Sudesh Mudaliar, along with Patrick Bonk, Eland Afuang, Jonathan Klaric, Ben Anderson, Kasey Kehoe-Cox and Orlando Guzman, to talk about customers' needs and how we could assist them.
With a bit of serendipitous timing OzWater crossed over with the launch of Info360, our operational analytics tool. Product Marketing Manager for the launch Patrick Bonk, and Post Sales/Client Success leader Jonathan Klaric, introduced it to an interested crowd, with a number of intrigued professionals approaching them after they left the stage.
The Calculations Can Be Complex, But The Execution Is So Simple
Their paper, "Operational Analytics – The Calculations Can Be Complex, But The Execution Is So Simple", was also part of the poster session. It's being prepared for publication - contact me for a copy, or to find out more about anything at Ozwater 2019.
Another cool thing...
This year the event had a ban on all single-use plastic bottles so we brought in some Innovyze branded glass water bottles to hand out to attendees. They were a big hit. For those who grabbed one, I hope it is still serving you well at home or in the office!
Already looking forward to Ozwater '20 in Adelaide!
