What's New in InfoAsset Planner 2020.2

The newly released InfoAsset Planner 2020.2 includes a new Basic tier subscription designed specifically for small water and sewer systems, improved Esri and InfoAsset Manager workflows, more flexibility when prioritizing projects, official support for ArcMap 10.8, and much more.

Let’s take a deeper look at these exciting new features and enhancements.

1. Moving from error-prone spreadsheets to a purpose-built asset management tool with the new “Basic tier subscription”.

Asset management for small sewer or water systems has historically relied on spreadsheets or other manual tools.  At Innovyze, we believe data-driven asset management should be a best-practice for everyone, so we’re very excited to launch the InfoAsset Planner "Basic" tier.  Now our best-in-class asset planning software is accessible to all customers, regardless of the size of the system they are managing. Our “Basic” tier is an excellent low-cost entry-level asset management software solution, that enables risk-based asset prioritization.

InfoAsset Planner can be used standalone or can be paired with Esri field worker tools for a complete office-to-field workflow.  InfoAsset Planner “Basic” tier can be integrated with Workforce and Survey123, which is made possible by InfoAsset Planner being built on Esri’s ArcGIS, enabling seamless workflows between InfoAsset Planner and Esri’s mobile applications.

An example of the workflows of this integrated solution would be for a work order generated from analysis in InfoAsset Planner to be sent to Esri’s Workforce for field crews to view the work order on their mobile, connect to Survey 123, and complete the configurable forms they can then send back to InfoAsset Planner for inclusion in future models.

2. Easily publish your InfoAsset Planner data to ArcGIS Online Dashboards for better collaboration.

We’ve made it easier than ever to publish your critical data and key metrics from InfoAsset Planner to ArcGIS online, enabling deeper collaboration with stakeholders.  You can now publish all of your InfoAsset Planner data, including: Asset and it’s attribute data for all asset types, CCTV, FELL, survey data, service requests, work orders, and inspections, and results from all risk analysis, rehab decision trees, deterioration models, valve criticality, project prioritization.

Here's an example of some of the visualizations you can include in your dashboards.

3. Greater control when defining your prioritized projects

The project prioritization capability bundles assets into projects and offers users the capability to configure the methodology to prioritize projects based on connectivity, proximity, and pipe characteristics.

The improved functionality now gives users more control over the process of forming projects.  Users can use lines and polygons to better define their project boundaries, as well as include projects in their batch run processes.

4. A more robust InfoAsset integrated solution

Driven by feedback from our customers, we’ve made the integration between InfoAsset Planner and InfoAsset Manager more seamless and robust.  Some areas we focused on are better handling of very large integrated data sets and improvements to data syncing between products.

5. View key Rehab information in the Facility Explorer

Rehabilitation information for any given asset is now available at your fingertips within the Facility Explorer.  You can now view rehab costs, actions, methods, risk, peak CCTV score and your decision tree directly within the window.

6. Support of the latest ArcGIS

ArcMap 10.8 is now officially supported with InfoAsset Planner 2020.2.
