The latest versions of our Products, MicroDrainage, DrawNet(CAD) and Dongle Administrator are now available for download. Details of the new features in the MicroDrainage 2018 can be viewed in our What's New Page.
IMPORTANT: Please read the information below before downloading and installing the latest update, failure to do so may result in problems using the software.
Installing the Software:
MicroDrainage 2018.1.1 is only supported on Windows 7, Windows 8, Windows 8.1, and Windows 10.
In order to use our software, you will need to have Microsoft .NET Framework 4.7 installed on the installation machine. Please download and install this prior to installing our software. Please also make sure that you are using the latest version of Windows Installer on the installation machine.
Please remove the dongle (standalone only) prior to the install and reattach it after the install has completed to allow the new drivers to be installed correctly. If you encounter any HASP errors (installation errors) either during or following installation please refer to the Dongle Driver Reinstallation Instructions.
Please be aware that you will need a activation code in order to use the new version of the software and any old versions will be removed when MicroDrainage 2018.1.1 is installed.
We have supplied all the maintenance contacts for each maintained customer with 2018.1.1 upgrade information including the required activation codes.
To obtain your activation code, please contact the head record contact for MicroDrainage within your organisation in the first instance. Our support team are only permitted to disclose activation codes to maintenance contacts.
Network (LAN/WAN) Installations:
Please ensure that you are running the latest versions of the dongle device driver and license manager on your server before installing our latest versions.
32-bit and 64-bit:
Two versions of MicroDrainage are available to suit both 32-bit and 64-bit installations of Windows. If you have a 64-bit operating system you will see faster analysis speeds and improved support for larger models when using the 64-bit release. The 32-bit version can be used on either version of Windows, but 32-bit users will miss out on the benefits of the 64-bit version.
For further information on how to tell which operating system you are using please see Detecting which Platform.
DrawNet(CAD) replaces MDCAD from WinDes 2013 onwards, in order to use DrawNet(CAD) the DrawNet Module must be available on your dongle.
Note: AutoCAD®/ AutoCAD® Civil 3D® release 2016, 2017, 2018 or 2019 (full version not LT) is required. DrawNet(CAD) works with both 32-bit and 64-bit versions of AutoCAD®/Windows, please download and install the appropriate version to match your operating system.
Note that the latest version of MicroDrainage should always be installed alongside the latest version of DrawNet(CAD).
DrawNet(CAD) will be installed into the C:\Program Files\Autodesk\ApplicationPlugins folder.
