InfoWorks ICM becomes flagship product for RAFTS method

Brisbane, Australia, October 13th, 2020.

Innovyze, the global leader in water infrastructure software, announces details for the evolution of XPRAFTS to InfoWorks ICM.

XPRAFTS has served the Australian stormwater industry well for over 45 years as one of the key methods recommended by the Australian National Guidelines (ARR2016).

With the release ofInfoWorks ICM v9.5 in November 2018, Innovyze delivered the next generation of the RAFTS routing method into the world’s #1 tool for hydrological, stormwater and flood modelling analysis. The InfoWorks ICM interface was built with the future in mind. It is a significantly refined product using the latest available technology to drive user efficiency and engineering performance. We have built features specifically designed to provide users with a high-value upgrade path from a fragmented hydrological XPRAFTS workflow, to a more efficient and outcome-driven integrated tool,InfoWorks ICM.

“The latest release of RAFTS in ICM honours 45 years of innovation and improvement in the stormwater industry. It brings traditional methods forward so hydrologic modellers are getting the most advanced features to use in their projects”. Sophia Buchanan, Senior Stormwater Engineer, Innovyze

The next release of InfoWorks ICM 2021.1 is scheduled for November 2020, when we will no longer provide new licenses ofXPRAFTS.  We will continue to provide support for existingXPRAFTS users, with valid annual maintenance contracts, until December 31, 2021.
