Join us for a water talk with our special guest Sam Kipling, Senior Advisor, Spatial Planning, Flood & Coastal Risk Management, at the Environment Agency.
Join us to hear an update from the Environment Agency. Sam will introduce and answer your questions on recent changes to relevant planning policy and guidance, SuDS-related research and government reviews. He will also provide a horizon scan of things to look out for in the year ahead.
As part of the Adaptation & Resilience team in the Agency’s flood risk directorate, Sam continues to work on the wider planning reform agenda but with a narrower focus on flood risk and sustainable drainage. As a planner at the Environment Agency, ensuring development is resilient to flood risk and the impacts of climate change is central to his role.
